Gan

Gan B. Bajracharya was born in Nepal and received M.Sc. degree in 1998 from Tribhuvan University. Following that, he received a D. Sc. degree in 2004 from Tohoku University. He has worked as a Research Associate in the Prof. Yoshinori Yamamoto Group at Tohoku University and as a JSPS Post-doctoral Fellow in the Prof. Hiroaki Sasai Group at Osaka University. In 2007, he joined the Daugulis Group at University of Houston, TX and worked on base-promoted cyclizations proceeding via benzyne intermediates. Later on, he was, for some strange reason, motivated for contributing to his home country and is currently working as a Senior Scientist at Nepal Academy of Science and Technology.
