Kulkarni

 

Amol A. Kulkarni obtained his Ph. D. from the State University of New York at Buffalo under the supervision of Prof. Steven T. Diver. During his graduate research, he developed methylene-free enyne metathesis protocol for the synthesis of carbocyclic dienes. In 2008 - 2010 he was a postdoctoral research associate in Daugulis group working on iron-catalyzed transformations. In August 2010 he was hired as a faculty member at Howard University, Washington DC. In 2015, he was promoted to Associate Professor with tenure.
